  • The Perfect Measuring Tape Company makes the move to Drupal and Ubercart

    22 Oct, 2009

Perfect Measuring Tape was interested in an update to their e-commerce process to improve the online order experience by making it more informative and easier to use. We recommended a new Content Management System (Drupal) and e-commerce solution (Ubercart), along with a visual redesign of the website by Claire Chamberlin of Planet Claire Creative. With an integrated CMS and e-commerce system, Perfect Measuring Tape has been able to manage all aspects of their website, and visitors to the website are able to navigate seamlessly between informational and e-commerce sections of the website. An update to the website's visual design has improved the user experience by making it easier for potential customers to find what they're looking for, and complete purchases with confidence.

We provided the project management and information architecture in addition to the Drupal and Ubercart skills.

  • MightyNest.com powered by Drupal and Ubercart provides a new way to shop your values

    01 Oct, 2009

MightyNest is a unique Web site that provides parents the ability to research, get advice and buy safe, healthy and eco-friendly products all in one place.

When we met the folks at MightyNest, we knew we had to find a way to work with them on this website. As experienced online shoppers who value sustainability, we brought more to the table than just expert Drupal development skills.

fivefivefour was part of a large team spread out around the country working on this project. We were part of an iterative development process starting with reviewing wireframes for functionality feasibility. We were also involved in reviewing designs for each section of the website. The website features include a safe and secure e-commerce system (built using Drupal's Ubercart suite of modules), the ability for users to submit reviews and ratings for each product, options for sorting and searching for products in multiple ways, and an easy to use blogging framework.

  • Simple, Good, and Tasty launches new website with Drupal

    04 Jul, 2009

The new Simple, Good, and Tasty is an attempt to bring together all of the best information about local, sustainable, and organic food in the Twin Cities. To that end, we are launching a re-vamped website with:

    - The most comprehensive local food events calendar in the Twin Cities.
    - A directory, featuring local restaurants, farms, CSAs, grocery stores, and co-ops that feature local, sustainable, and organic foods

fivefivefour was thoroughly pleased to incorporate our food values into this project which we believe will help build the food community in the Twin Cities. We knew that Drupal and Ubercart would help Lee Zukor take his blog to the next level and bring the wonderful community of local, sustainable and organic foodies together in a new way. We're excited about this project and it will continue into the next few months as new features are added.

  • CEIMN leverages Drupal and CiviCRM to manage volunteers for Minnesota's US Senate Election Recount

    11 Nov, 2008

fivefivefour client, Citizens for Election Integrity Minnesota, is mobilizing volunteers to observe the Minnesota US Senate Recount. The 2008 Minnesota Senate election will go to a recount later this month. Due to the work of CEIMN, and many other election audit advocacy groups, Minnesota is well positioned to conduct the recount.

CEIMN.org is powered by Drupal with CiviCRM used to acquire and manage CEIMN's volunteers. The Minnesota post-election audit occurs in all 87 counties and audits approximately 5% of the ballots cast in each statewide election cycle. CEIMN volunteers sign up on the CEIMN website and then CEIMN staff use the website to manage the volunteers. The website is used as a vehicle to organize volunteers throughout the entire state of Minnesota in an efficient and effective manner. Each volunteer must be trained on how to observe an audit and this along with other information on individual volunteers is tracked using CiviCRM.

The first election audit in Minnesota was conducted in 2006. fivefivefour worked with CEIMN since that first election audit to improve the content and management of that content on the website so that CEIMN's volunteers were in the loop as the 2008 election audit neared.

Citizens for Election Integrity of Minnesota has partnered with fivefivefour since 2005 to create a web presence that highlights their important work and to help CEIMN organize hundreds of volunteers throughout Minnesota.
